Bikaner is set to host its biggest-ever cycling race on Sunday, November 23. Modeled on the world-famous ‘Tour de France’ held annually in France, this mega event has been titled ‘Tour de Thar’.
The race will flag off at 6:30 AM from Naurangdesar and conclude in the evening at Raisar village. The grand event is being organized under the guidance of Bikaner MP and Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal.
More than 750 cyclists from across India and countries like France, Switzerland, and Singapore will participate in this international-level race. A group of over 50 cyclists from Rajasthan Road Riders, Jaipur, has also departed to take part in the event.
The competition will be held in 100 km and 200 km categories, and winners will receive a total prize money of ₹27 lakh.
